Ensign Indigo Rayne was welcomed to SB118 as the Historian and Archealogist on 238507.31
Still recovering from her attack, Lt. Geeva Kalpana was fitted with an exosketetal frame to assist her in her weakened condition. Interrogated by security chief Cyrus Webb, he was unable to discern anything that would help in his investigation. Lt. Webb assigned Ensign Emma Moon a five team staff to perform an on-location search within the Dungeon’s illegal dumping site. Also assigned to the investigation was Chief of Science Lt.(jg) Pedro Ramirez under the direct supervision and authority of FO Lt. Cmdr. Eden Redstone.
Ensign Tavana Sheppard was welcomed on SD 238508.06 as the Tactical Officer; Ensigns Tanang and Tavis Michaels were welcomed into the position of Helm/Comm/Ops. Taken under the wing of Lt. Kalpana, the chief of operations, Tanang and Michaels were dispatched with the duties of researching communications outages within the station. Secondly, decipher if it was a communication from another species.
Lt. Quinn Reynolds transfered from the USS Challenger into the position of intelligence officer. She came aboard on SD 238508.10 (but not necessarily welcomed since Intelligence Officers have a shaded reputation).
At this same time, Ensign Jansen Orrey approached Kennedy Wysteria regarding a talent show in her establishment, the “Event Horizon”. The deal was struck and Fleet Captain Rocar readily agreed.

Lieutenant Geeva Kalpana, Chief Operations Officer for Starbase 118, has been found and is resting comfortably in Medical Services under the care of Dr. Emir Valen, a specialist in xenomedicine. Apparently, the Lieutenant was left for dead in a undisclosed location which sources inside command have indicated is an illegal dump site for toxic substances. An investigation is underway to determine who attacked Lieutenant Kalpana as well as who is using base facilities as a dump site.

Ensing Jacob Wentworth has joined Starbase 118 Ops from the Academy. He has been doing well with his simming and here is a sample of one of his recent sims.

The crew of Starbase 118 Ops, having reacted to the barrage of attacks, now moved into a forced state of peace on the station. Captain Rocar ordered a curfew, which is still in effect on the station. Therefore, only the stations crew, security and Marines are roaming the corridors. During this lull in the usual constant chaos, 2 things presented themselves. First, a shuttle full of 3 Academy graduates crash landed on a planet not to far from the starbase. However, one the new ensigns was the Academy Commador’s niece. Pressure to get this situation under control moved swiftly through the base. Lt. Cmdr Julia Harden, stations CMO, as assigned to the task of the Search and Rescue. Cmdr Perkins went along to give her support of a command officer. The other officers on this mission were Lt. Hilzarie, Lt. Geeva, Lt. Sharee, Lt. Falcon, Ensign Moon and Ensign Wentworth. At the same time, Lt. Jacen Fanel’s ship from his homeland arrived to the station to “pick him up” and bring him home. Along with Lt. Fanel are Lt. Cmdr T’Lea, MC Dade Adarnis, Gunnery Sargent Krtasia, Lt. Dr. Jarak Krescha and Ensign Saja Ja’Kor. After a tour of the starbase for Fanel’s Honor Guard, who came aboard the station to retrieve him, a tour of the large Executor was given by Fane’s
cousin, Admiral Alexander and his XO. After the tour, things continued on the station. Fleet Captain Rocar met with his children, Cmdr Stone and Lt. Cmdr Zubowskivich had a difference of opinion concerning his ability to perform his job in his current state. Zubowskivich, under the control of Armeni, had brutally beaten Lt Cmdr T’Lea, nearly to her death. Somehow, he managed to stop himself. Yet, he suffered from Armeni’s tampering and lost about 6 hours of time in his mind. When he recovered from his near catatonic state of mind, he was unable to account for his whereabouts. Yet, based on video feed, Cura found
exactly where he had been and what he had been doing to T’lea. She got this information from Lt. Cmdr T’Lea before she left on her mission with Lt. Fanel. Therefore, Cura, armed with this information, took Lt. Cmdr Tash Zubowsivich off duty. Zubowskkivch was enraged at her taking him off duty. Cura ordered him to see Lt. Sharee, the stations Chief Counselor. He followed her orders but with much distaste. Lt. Sharee was able to put Zubowskivich on the right track and he met up with Lt. Hilzarie and asked her for help. They engaged in a mind melding and it was discovered that Armeni had mentally blocked some of Tash’s memories. Lt. Hilzarie was able to assist Tash, but his memories would not all come back at once, but gradually. Later. Cmdr Stone and Zubowskivich met for dinner in their diplomatic quarters after the tour on Lt. Fanel’s ship. With so many senior staff off station, the station look somewhat hollow, but the quiet is nothing unwanted.
